An attempt to incorporate culture with language using various cultural events, familiar topics and visual materials such as cartoons and reproduced realia, and content-driven activities. Includes many songs, illustrations and cultural information. Teachers Handbooks supply helpful pedagogical guidelines and additional activities. Weak in dealing with language as a tool for daily communication; perhaps most useful as a supplement to other textbooks. Yoroshiku is structured at three levels: Niko Niko (Stages A & B) for elementary school students; Moshi Moshi (Stages 1 & 2) for junior high school students; and Pera Pera (Stages 3 & 4) for senior high school students.
