GENKI is a new
introductory Japanese textbook series developed by faculty at Kansai Gaidai
University. Lessons include
dialogues, grammar explanations, and many group- and pair- based exercises
and activities in which
students work with drawings and realistic situations. This series is
designed for university level students,
and advances at a fairly rapid rate, but at the very least, the exercises
and activities could be useful in the
secondary classroom.
