1ナショナルスタンダーズについて
Standards for Japanese Language Learning

Communication
Standard 1.1: Students engage in conversation, provide and obtain information, express feelings and emotions, and exchange opinions.
Standard 1.2: Students understand and interpret written and spoken Japanese on a variety of topics
Standard 1.3: Students present information, concepts, and ideas to an audience of listeners or readers on a variety of topics.

Cultures
Standard 2.1: Students demonstrate an understanding of the relationship between the practices and perspectives of Japanese culture.
Standard 2.2: Students demonstrate an understanding of the relationship between the projects and perspectives of Japanese culture.

Connections
Standard 3.1: Students reinforce and further their knowledge of other disciplines through the Japanese language.
Standard 3.2: Students acquire information and recognize the distinctive viewpoints that are only available through Japanese language and culture.

Comparisons
Standard 4.1: Students demonstrate understanding of the nature of language through comparisons of the Japanese language and their own.
Standard 4.2: Students demonstrated understanding of the concept of culture through comparisons of Japanese culture and their own.

Communities
Standard 5.1: Students use Japanese both within and beyond the school setting.
Standard 5.2: Students show evidence of becoming life-long learners by using Japanese for personal enjoyment and enrichment.

Technology is one of "Weave" of curricular elements.

日本のクラスと電子メール交換(キーパル)、ウェッブページ作成で自己紹介の練習(初級段階)

お互いに紹介した自分たちの生活から生活習慣や価値観(2の1)、文化遺産や文化的な物(2の2)

初級段階はなかなか難しくこのシナリオの場合には地理学習程度
生の教材はインターネットに豊富

Comparisons
相手方の先生と話を合わせておいて同じような話題にしておく
言語(4の1)と文化(4の2)の比較
Communities
インターネットを使えば比較的容易である。
キーパルとの交流が教室外へ伸びて自分の世界を広げていく(5の1)
友情が発展すれば生涯教育の一環として日本語を学び続ける(5の2)
インターネットでの自律的な日本語学習、Facilitatorとしての教師の役割
